What  is commitment? It means to pledge oneself to a position, or to bind or obligate oneself  to a course of action. Being committed to God means that we are entrusting ourselves into His protection and care. It means that we agree with His righteous rule and that we have pledged to follow His commands in whatever way He may express them to us.
